The new collection “Dans le monde” – artists’ monographs published by Mare et Martin – aims at revealing emerging or already recognized artists of the contemporary art scene, mostly from the African continent. Published in French and in English, these works respect the graphic requirements and the scientific rigour of our publishing house. Widely illustrated and tailor-made according to the artist’s work, they are intended to be distributed to a wide audience.

I am delighted, via the contemporary African art gallery, N’Afridie, to present you with the first images of the works in progress.  Diane Victor, Aliou Diack, Ernest Dükü and Sanaa Gateja have already joined us in this magnificent editorial adventure.
