My roots are from Brittany, my wings African!
Whilst, living in Central Africa for almost ten years, I had the opportunity of meeting various artists from both sides of the Congo River. The desire to reveal, share and value the work of these artists from the African continent came to me upon my return to France. It’s as if this is the way it was meant to be. The artists presented in this gallery are the result of these beautiful encounters and the magnificent conversations which revolve around the topic we are most passionate about: Art
As an artist, I am interested in the creative process and even more in the genesis of a work of art, whatever it’s medium. Artists are researchers, perpetual detectives, observers of a world in permanent flux but also and above all, creators of links. As an aesthete, I want to be a conduit, a relay of beauty, goodness and even more so of meaning.
To be what some might see as a transmitter of emotion, poetry, fragility and strength.
I like the eclecticism of artists, watching for their often protean artistic practices of combining tradition, modernity, futurism and their taste for clearing new territories, new forms, new colours…
